In Search of the Heart with Tutul Fakir

In Search of the Heart

An Evening of Lalon Sai’s Songs, Wisdom & Spiritual Fellowship

Every day, we listen to countless words and journey along countless roads. Yet, somehow, we seldom find the time to listen to the quiet murmurings of our own hearts. In the midst of our hurried lives, perhaps we need an evening when we can pause, listen with our whole being, and spend a little time in the presence of Sai’s words.

The teachings of Lalon Sai speak of the pursuit of understanding the human being, of seeking the person who dwells within us, and of searching for the deeper truths of life. His songs transcend melody; each verse carries a profound philosophy of life—a wisdom that, through the ages, has stirred the human spirit, called seekers to their quest, and drawn those who yearn to understand into deeper contemplation.

It is out of our reverence and love for this wisdom that we come together for this gathering of spiritual fellowship.

On 30 October, at Jatra Biroti, Tutul Fakir will perform the songs of Lalon Sai. Through his voice, we will come together for an evening in the presence of Sai’s words—an evening where melodies, the depth of his verses, and the spirit of spiritual fellowship make room for reflection and feeling.

Away from the familiar rush of Dhaka, you are warmly invited to spend some time in the company of Sai’s wisdom. Perhaps a song, a single verse, will awaken a question that has long lived within you, or quietly touch something for which words have yet to be found.

Come, let us gather for an evening in the presence of Sai’s words.

Let us listen to his songs and contemplate his wisdom.

And in the quiet company of his words,

let us seek the truth within our own hearts.
