At Tickora, we facilitate ticket sales between event organizers and attendees. This Refund Policy outlines the general guidelines for refunds. 2. Organizer Refund Policies
Each event organizer sets their own refund policy. Before purchasing tickets, please review the refund policy displayed on the event page. Common organizer policies include:
- Full Refund: Refunds available up to a certain date before the event
- Partial Refund: A percentage of the ticket price may be refunded depending on timing
- No Refund: All sales are final with no refunds available
- Exchange Only: Tickets may be exchanged for future events but not refunded
3. Event Cancellation
If an event is cancelled by the organizer, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. In such cases:
- Tickora will notify you via email about the cancellation
- Refunds will be processed automatically within 7-14 business days
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
- Service fees may or may not be refundable depending on the circumstances
4. Event Postponement
If an event is postponed to a new date, your tickets will typically remain valid for the rescheduled date. If you cannot attend the new date, please contact the event organizer directly to inquire about refund options. Tickora will communicate any updates provided by the organizer.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Check the event's refund policy on the event page or your order confirmation
- Contact the event organizer directly through the contact information provided on the event page
- If you cannot reach the organizer, contact Tickora support at support@tickora.app with your order details
- Include your order number, event name, and reason for the refund request
6. Refund Processing
Once a refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days
- The refund will be credited to the original payment method
- Bank processing times may vary; please allow additional time for the refund to appear in your account
- You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed
7. Service Fees
Tickora service fees are generally non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organizer. In cases of event cancellation, service fees may be refunded at Tickora's discretion. For organizer-approved refunds, service fees are typically retained to cover payment processing costs.
8. Free Tickets
Free tickets (with no payment made) do not require a refund. If you can no longer attend a free event, we encourage you to cancel your registration so that your spot can be made available to others.
9. Disputes
If you have a dispute regarding a refund, please contact us at support@tickora.app. We will work with you and the event organizer to reach a fair resolution. Please note that Tickora acts as an intermediary and the final refund decision rests with the event organizer in most cases.
